A quiet Monday that felt like healing

    Nothing significant happened today.

    Nothing significant happened today.

I woke up slowly. Made tea instead of coffee. Opened the window and let the morning air sit in the room before I did anything else.

I didn't check my phone for the first twenty minutes. Not because I was being disciplined, but because I genuinely forgot. And when I realized that, I smiled.

There was laundry to do, so I did it. There was a song I'd been meaning to listen to, so I played it twice. I had lunch alone and didn't feel the need to fill the silence with anything.

It was just a Monday. Ordinary in every way.

But something about it felt different. Like I was actually in it.. not ahead of it, not behind it, not wishing it were something else.

I think that's what healing looks like sometimes. Not breakthroughs. Not revelations. Just a regular day where you realize you're not carrying as much as you used to.

Where you notice that the heaviness has become lighter without you trying to fix it.

It's a quiet Monday. And I'm here for it. Fully, gently, without wishing I were somewhere else.

Maybe that's enough. Maybe that's everything.
